Great app to learn about beer and dicover new beers

The search/bar code scanner functions are terrific, and really the #1 reason to get the app. Would give it 5 stars IF the categories/terms used on the app were consistent with the website. Example: If you have a Ratebeer.com account, their site lets you save beers you want to try as “Wants”. On the app, it’s called something different (“On Tap”) and does not sync with “Wants” from the site. Makers: Please integrate so all account info/prefs are consistent across platforms.

Great app and really enjoyed using it for over a year. Upgraded my phone and was dismayed to find out there is no way to back-up or cloud sync my data. I did not want to re enter everything again. Lots of apps have the option to sync to Dropbox or whatever. I might even pay more for this feature (in-app purchase?) The only way according to the company is to do an iPhone restore on the new phone from your old phones data instead of setting it up as a new device. Apparently cloud sync was coming soon (in June). I would rate this 5 stars if I could continue where I left off with my beer list.

Great to catalogue my notes and look through all top lists. Barcode scan option is really helpful when pulling up quick tasting notes on a new beer.

Has a good selection of beers and beer reviews, but the design is old and antiquated. It is still in the old pre-iOS 7 design. It hasnt been updated for the iPhone 6/6 Plus screen sizes. It doesnt have swipe back. Terrible in this day and age.

Its finally nice to have a working RateBeer app. The last one wasnt worth a damn...

Ratebeer integration is broken and thereby renders this app useless

Keeps track of my favorite beers. Share my faves with friends. Please update this app. Nothing new since 10/2014 ???

This is a great app except for one thing. There is no way that I have found to upload your saves to the cloud or share with your other devices. When you get a new device/phone, and we all eventually must, you must start over. I just lost my log of several years and approximately 300 beers on my phone that recently died.

Very convenient and easy to use. Only two things spring to mind to improve it (and earn that 5th star): 1. I just upgraded my phone and there doesnt seem to be a way to get all my data from the old phone to the new one other than manually re-entering all of it. :( 2. Id like to be able to make personal notes in a beer without making them public. Im less interested in telling the world about the hoppiness and tangerine notes and more interested in remembering that this is the beer I had at Franks party that started off tasting like cough syrup but was drinkable from the second bottle on (Im looking at you, Sam Adams Cherry Wheat).

I have tried several different craft beer apps - this is the best craft beer app I have found. It has ratings for most all craft beers.

This app could be great but needs an overhaul. Search engine takes forever to load, bar code scanner is choppy and sometimes wont acknowledge a beers rating. Probably not worth the $4. Only went to it because beer advocate was discontinued. Does have potential though so please tighten things up!

If you like good craft beer then this app will prove indispensable. Check up on ratings and styles with the scanner.

This app works well to keep track of the different brews Ive tasted. Also, its handy to determine if there is a particular variety I should try, or stay away from. Update 8/13/16: Crashes each time I use it. Would love a bug fix!
