Beer Buddy - Scanner & Ratings App Reviews

This is a very useful application and it works well. My only wish is that it supported syncing to the cloud. There is no way currently to use it across all of my devices and what will happen when I upgrade my phone?

I havent stumped this app yet. I live the ability to track the era Ive tasted. Though some may call that evidence.

It appears this app is no longer being developed. Dont bother. Ive rarely been led astray by the consensus of reviews provided by this app. I travel and use it all the time to help figure out which beers to try.

Dont bother with this app. It was abandoned in 2014 and doesnt work in iOS 10.

For a year or so now, its been buggy-not displaying Ratebeer info, not showing reviews, the news tab doesnt work, etc. if I could figure out a way to move all my reviews to Untappd, I would ditch this system in a heartbeat.

What in the flying spaghetti monsters name did all my beer ratings go!!!! Fix this ASAP!!!

Was loving this app until I switched phones and learned I was not able to transfer all of my 100 plus beers and saved data to my new phone. Very frustrating and not except able for a paid app. Whats the point.i agreed with all the good reviews but you can never change your phone.

I love having an app to log the beers that Ive had. But this app is slow and reminds me of iOS 6! It hasnt been updated since 2014 and its almost 2017! Another suggestion, I know this app allows you to post comments and rate to the internet, but I like the idea of having a private note/rating on the beers so I know what I like to drink. I dont need the world knowing what Im drinking. I would prefer to keep a "beer diary" of sorts instead of a "beer facebook"

Current version MUST be updated. It doesnt sync with ratebeer on iPhone 7. So disappointed. Please fix!

Im a huge fan of this app but does it include a way to save data? My phone had to be refreshed and all apps erased - I redone loaded the app and all my reviews are gone! Can a future enhancement be to add a login so that your reviews are saved and transferable?

This app is amazing! Great way to keep track of the beers you like and dont like great for beer connoisseurs. The only downside and why Im not rating it a 5 star is I upgraded my phone and you cant move what youve tasted and rated to your new device real bummer! Otherwise great app for the price!

Scanned 3 beers so far and the UPCs have all come up empty. It doesnt know what it is scanning which makes it useless.

I use the barcode scanner all the time at the store (Total Wine). Love picking up a highly rated new beer to try. Have found some seriously great beverages using this app. Indispensable tool for the traveling craft beer-a-holic!

Didnt know this app existed until last night but it is the quintessential beer lovers app. I can finally take notes of what beers Ive tried and what I want to try next and rate beers. Beer is great. This app pairs well with beer. Now you can say "oh that beer is terrible I gave it a 1.2 dont buy it" and stuff. Its awesome. I will say, I also got this whiskey app and its all about whiskey and it recommends stuff for you. It also looks beautiful. Its the most beautiful app Ive ever seen. To the developers of beerbuddy, make the app look better. Id also add something where it learns what you like and what you dont like and gives you recommendations based off of that. Like Netflix. But with beer. Still 5 stars, keep it up!

This is the best go to beer app you can get. Dont be scared of the price, just think of all the perfectly delicious beers your going to get to enjoy after getting to match whats in your hand to what your craving. This is a perfect app for checking out beers you might not have tried, taps you see out in the bars you dont know or new brews you see at your local beer store. I havent been steered wrong yet and the variety of ways to search for beers is awesome. Great app!!

Love this App for the great detail, and helps to develop appreciation for the finer beers.
