Beer Buddy - Scanner & Ratings App Reviews

Been using for 2 years. Great app but outdated. Hasnt been updated in a year and I am frequently coming across beers that arent included. Same beers are on other apps such as Untappd, so save your money and use the free ones.

Awesome app for a quick reference. If you are like me it helps make some nice choices on a mix and match 6 packs. I have compared this app to a couple of my buddies beer reference apps and this is far better in my opinion. I love the QR Scanner. Most beer reviews within the app are spot on as well.

Keeps track of my favorite beers. Share my faves with friends. Needs an update tho...

I couldnt imagine life without this app. More than a buddy, its a way of life.

0 STARS - UPC codes are unique, so why do I get multiple choices every time I scan a beer? Also, almost every time I scan, the app freezes. Worthless.

Well, it works well and is almost a great app but lack of updates and general clunkiness and ticks makes this almost unusable. Been on Ratebeer for over ten years and this app is pointless. Opening Safari on my cell is way easier and more reliable. Garbage. I hope the developers get herpes.

Everytime i open, it crashes. Restarted iphone, it still crashes, uninstalled app and reinstalled, it still crashes. I hope I didnt lose the ton of beers I scanned, tasted and saved. Don;t expect this from a $4 app. (Iphone 5s)

Ive rarely been led astray by the consensus of reviews provided by this app. I travel and use it all the time to help figure out which beers to try.

This is the best beer app Ive ever used. Very easy to navigate. The only thing that bugs me is with ratebeer.com and the 75 character requirement to rate a beer.

If you Love craft beers, this is the app you need. Brilliant!

The app is okay. Clunky interface, the search is hard to use. But I wish that they would use RateBeers 100 point scale. This is much more useful than the current 5 point scale

Got this app in hopes I could copy and paste the names of beers and maybe get a little more info about each one to compile a beer list for my bar. Waste of money

On my 5s, the app opens and just gives a spinning "loading" icon. Nothing else. Please update!

Format for reviews is unclear. Why are "palate" and "taste" two different things? I emailed them asking to explain the distinction; no reply. The reviews often exceed the character limit, at least on my iPhone. The search function is affected by punctuation marks, apostrophes, and exact spelling. Many reviewers are ignorant of styles, rating Pilsners and Helleses lower than Double IPAs, even if the lighter beers are excellent. Positives are a large database of domestic and foreign beers and generally accurate info about abv.

I have tried several beer apps looking for something to keep track of what I drank. I was hoping to find something that had some auto fill or search capacity and let me enter in some of my own notes. This app does all of that and more. I really like that it links to ratebeer.com so I can see how beer is rated if I am at a place with a bunch of stuff I havent tried. It is really easy to add a new beer and enter notes. I highly recommend this app.

Please update the app to support iphone 6/6 Plus screen. The app looks really bad on the iPhone 6 Plus screen.
